Diamond Point via the Endless Wall

Diamond Point via the Endless Wall Professional Review and Guide

"The rewards of this hike far outstrip the effort needed to undertake it. The highlight reel first explores a dark, brooding tributary of the New River, Fern Creek, where preserved hemlocks form the backdrop of a fairyland forest. After bridging this stream, the hike heads for the rim of the New River Gorge and the bluffs of the Endless Wall. Cruise the edge of the canyon, and then take a spur trail to Diamond Point, with one of the best vistas in the entire New River Gorge National River. Elevation changes are less than 100 feet."
