Babcock State Park

Babcock State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This state park covers more than 4,100 acres. Boley Lake is located within the park, spread across 19 acres and offering boating and fishing opportunities. You can rent a canoe, rowboat, or paddleboat from the marina.

There are nine trails that meander throughout the park. Distances range from 0.25 mile to 2.5 miles. Use caution: Some trails lead to overhangs and high cliffs. Bikes are allowed only on Narrow Gauge Trail, which has sections where you will need to dismount and carry your bike. There are three trails that are good for cross-country skiing, but none is specifically maintained for that activity."
