Falls Trail - Twin Falls Resort State Park

Falls Trail - Twin Falls Resort State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"When a park has more than 25 miles of developed trails, it can be difficult to choose where to begin. Not so with Twin Falls Resort State Park. The Falls Trail is a no-brainer: This short, flat path takes you to the park’s namesake twin falls, Marsh Fork Falls and Black Fork Falls.

Shoulder the tripod and head out with your camera. These crashing falls embody the definition of picturesque, nestled in steep mountain slopes and framed by rhododendrons and hardwoods."

"The cataracts at Twin Falls State Resort Park are worthy of giving a moniker to the preserve, but they are not twins—the two waterfalls are very different, though they are both located on the same trail and can be seen on one short and relatively easy hike. These two gorgeous waterfalls are noteworthy enough to give Twin Falls State Park its name. The Falls Trail makes a fun and easy loop, first passing wide, curtain-like 15-foot Marsh Fork Falls, then turning up Black Fork, where 22-foot Black Fork Falls charges over a curved lip in a circular stone amphitheater. You can easily walk behind Black Fork Falls, admiring it from different angles."
