"All of the trails in the 3,000-plus-acre Willow River State Park are designated both by name and by color. Colored posts along the route and at intersections help orient hikers to the route they are on or intersecting. This hike starts at the Willow Falls parking lot, just north of the park entrance. Head down the mowed trail at the northern end of the parking lot to the intersection with the Pioneer/Yellow Trail. At this crossing, take the trail to the left for a quick side trip to the William Scott Family Grave Site, about 300 yards down the Pioneer Trail. The Scotts settled this area in 1849." Read more

The trail is very steep for quite some time, tho it is paved. Well worth it to see the falls in my opinion!
