Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum Trails Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"It’s hard to imagine you are in the heart of Milwaukee as you stroll through this arboretum and along the Milwaukee River. The hike begins near the Urban Ecology Center, takes a loop through the prairie and wildflower section where oak savanna is being brought back, then follows the riverbank downstream under the North Avenue Bridge.

A pedestrian bridge crosses the river, and the Beerline Trail goes all the way to Locust Street. Cross the river again and complete the loop with a pass through the woods. The Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum takes its name from the Rotary
Club of Milwaukee, which on its 100-year anniversary in 2013 helped make the arboretum’s development possible with a contribution. It lies along the Milwaukee River in Riverside Park from Locust Street south to North Avenue."
