Nine Mile Forest 6K Trail

Nine Mile Forest 6K Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The ski trails that snake through 4,755-acre Nine Mile Forest have grown and steadily improved over the past 25 years. Trail sections are now identified by letters, and YOU ARE HERE map signs are frequent. The tougher trails used to have names like Bushwhacker and Zimbric’s Zig-Zag. At a ski area named Nine Mile Forest, a trail named 6K seems appropriate.

The name is a bit nondescript, but the skiing is wonderful. Nine Mile Forest is popular with local skiers and visitors alike. The trails are used for the cross-country races of the Badger State Games each February. These races are among the most heavily attended events in the annual winter sports festival. Surface quality: Groomed frequently, single tracked, skate lane. Fees: yes."
