Glacial Drumlin State Trail

Glacial Drumlin State Trail Professional Review and Guide

"You’ll experience a variety of scenery, from rolling glacial hills to vast marshes to great rivers, along the Glacial Drumlin State Trail. Also of note; a glacial lake, a bison herd, and five crossings of a lazy meandering stream.

The trail is near the Kettle Moraine State Forest and the ancient Native American village at Aztalan State Park. Surface: Asphalt for 12.9 miles from Waukesha to Dousman; crushed lime-stone with wood-planked bridges for the rest of the trail."

This a fun trail with so much to see like elk and bison farms. Mostly crushed limestone, but parts are paved and a small portion is on county roads. I ride this trail 2-3 times each year out of Waukesha.
