Cedar Glade / Perrot Ridge Trails Professional Review and Guide
"When it comes to steep ups and downs, trails don’t come any tougher than the ridge loops at Perrot. They are at the high end of the most difficult scale. Even expert skiers would be wise to ski them only in excellent conditions. If it’s icy, get out the snowshoes or try skiing the easy 2 mile Bay Trail.
That said, challenging trails can be rewarding. Perrot is a prime example. You’ll ski through a beautiful white pine, birch, and maple forest and have a fantastic view of the Mississippi Valley for your hard work. And, hey, steep downhills are exciting. If you make it through the sharp right-hander coming off of Chicken Breast Bluff, you should win a medal. Surface quality: Groomed periodically, mainly single tracked, double tracked on two-way sections. Fees: yes."
