A Wright - Stuff Ride Professional Review and Guide
"Spring Green is synonymous with famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who was born 18 miles to the north in Richland Center. As a child, Wright spent much of his time in the Spring Green area, which settled by his Welsh ancestors in the mid-1800s.
He spent the last forty-eight years of his life at Taliesin, the home and estate he designed and built for himself. You'll see Taliesin at the end of the ride and pass by the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center on the way to the start. On a visit to the 600-acre Taliesin complex, you'll see five Wright-designed buildings. This is hilly country, so be prepared for some slow, grinding uphills and fast downhills. The stunning scenery of the rolling hills and valleys makes this ride worth it, however. Things to see: Wisconsin River, Tower Hill State Park, Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, Frank Lloyd Wright home, American Players Theatre, scenic valleys."
