Cam-Rock County Park

Cam-Rock County Park Professional Review and Guide

"Cam-Rock County Park is a small parcel of land set in forest bordering the vast fields of farmland native to southwestern Wisconsin. The park itself is located to the north of the small town of Rockdale, a quaint farming and mining community that passes by in the blink of an eye.

The park has two entrances, one to the east of town, one to the northwest, the latter being used as the trailhead for this ride. The three loops found here cover approximately 1.5 miles each with a grass connector path adding another 0.5 mile of riding between trails. The loops are solely ridden on singletrack over hard-packed earth, forest floor terrain, and at times broken cobblestone."

Awesome trails. Only did the easier of the two options on the trails. Very nice slaloms in two sections. The trails were very well maintained. Start your day in Cambridge so that you can end with a nice sandwich and beer.
The expert section is no joke. As a whole this is some good single track. The only draw back is the grass trail between the wooded single tracks. Lots of rocks!
