Capital City Bike Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This popular multiuse trail on smooth asphalt takes you from the east side to the west side of Madison via wetlands, prairie, and a long greenway tucked into a residential area. The trail starts out through prairie. At 0.3 mile, you pass a park bench and some picnic tables just after that as the trail winds 0.2 mile through oak forest. Beyond that, the prairie of the Lewis Nine Springs E-Way is to your right and chock-full of wildflowers, including bergamot, coneflowers, Queen Anne’s lace, and black-eyed Susans."
