This hike starts at the highest point in southern Wisconsin. Soak in 360-degree views from an observation tower 1,710 feet in elevation, then join the Flint Rock Nature Trail. Circle around the north side of Blue Mound. Visit an old springhouse, then return to the top of the mound via the Indian Marker Tree Trail, winding among boulders galore. Lastly, view a tree bent in the direction of the summer solstice from the days before Wisconsin was a state.
