Bark River

Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Bark River Professional Review and Guide

"Another tributary to the Rock River, this stretch of the narrow and intimate Bark River runs amid farmland but remains well tucked into thick forest. Part of the Glacier Heritage Area’s Water Trails, the Bark flows in its meandering course to the Rock; the paddle trip ends soon after in downtown Fort Atkinson.

To the east of Fort Atkinson, the river passes through Prince’s Point Wildlife Area, where it takes in the Scuppernong River and becomes part of the Glacier Heritage Area Water Trails."
