Governor Dodge State Park Professional Review and Guide

"The trails at Governor Dodge State Park are consistently cleared of debris and overgrowth throughout the year by rangers and volunteers. This care helps to make the off-road trails found here some of the cleanest and most pleasant to ride in southwestern Wisconsin. There are 2 main loops open to bikers, both offering incredibly scenic views and challenging terrain. Both are ridable for intermediate riders, the Mill Creek Trail being the easier of the two.

The Mill Creek Trail is 3.3 miles long and departs from the south end of the Cox Hollow picnic area on the shore of Cox Hollow Lake. The entire loop takes about 35 minutes to complete. The path follows a one-way counterclockwise trail up into the sandstone bluffs surrounding the lake. The first mile is a black-top path with a fairly steep incline. At the top of the path the singletrack begins. The path rolls along the top of the bluff, darting into the forest and reemerging into sunlit meadows."
