West Bluff Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This spectacular hike wanders atop the west bluff of Devils Lake, presenting one incredible view after another from open outcrops rising above alluring waters. The trail then descends to Devils Lake, where you walk waterside among thousands of boulders, through rock gardens, and under tall pines on the aptly named Tumbled Rocks Trail. Finally, the hike reaches the swim beach on the north shore of Devils Lake. Throngs will be sunbathing and swimming. You can join them after a short climb from the beach back to the trailhead. Be apprised that this loop is popular—solitude seekers will want to go during the week or in the morning or evening."
