East Bluff Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This hike at Devils Lake State Park has big rewards but does require some climbing. Start at the southeast corner of Devils Lake, then climb through boulder fields and rock formations to reach Balanced Rock, an unusual formation. The trail then cruises north along the edge of East Bluff, affording views of the lake, the surrounding bluffs, and toward Baraboo to the north. Drop off East Bluff, passing Elephant Cave, then come alongside a clear rocky stream. Climb through the quiet woods. Finally, backtrack down through the rock maze, enjoying more views of Devils Lake before returning to the trailhead."
