Ice Age Trail Table Bluff Segment

Ice Age Trail: Table Bluff Segment Professional Review and Guide

"Enjoy some rather stunning prairie reclamation where wildflowers abound, then hike over hills and farmland to a scenic overlook.

This segment of the Ice Age Trail opened in the fall of 2006, and the prairie segments are awash with color when the wildflowers are in bloom. The trail is marked with posts with arrows or trees with plastic yellow patches and is maintained by volunteers. The parking lot is a grassy area along the south side of the road surrounded by several large rocks. The trailhead is clearly marked. Start along a mowed path through prairie, which soon gives way to a bit of oak savanna."
