Kettle Moraine State Forest—Northern Unit Parnell Tower Hiking Trail

Kettle Moraine State Forest—Northern Unit: Parnell Tower Hiking Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"If you want a bird’s-eye view of the Kettle Moraine, including some identifying signage of glacial features along the horizon, Parnell Tower is a must. You can go to the tower directly from the parking lot in minutes or, better yet, hike this fantastic rustic trail that joins the Ice Age National Scenic Trail briefly along the backs of some moraines before making a loop back to the tower.

Parnell Tower is a popular attraction in the Kettle Moraine, partly because it is so accessible, and partly because the view from the top of this 60-foot wooden structure is only rivaled."
