"This 247-acre park has 3.6 miles of waterfront on the east side of the Yakima River, just across the water from the city of Yakima. Swimming is not allowed in the river, but kayaking and rafting are popular.

Fishing ponds in the park are for children under age sixteen. The river is open seasonally to adult anglers."
