Lane Peak The Zipper and The Fly

Lane Peak: The Zipper and The Fly Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Lane Peak is home to two of the most iconic couloirs in Washington State: The Zipper and The Fly. Easy access, steep north-facing couloir skiing, and spectacular views of the south side of Mount Rainier mean that this peak should be on everyone’s tick list.

Lane Peak can also make for a great short tour if the Nisqually-Longmire Road opens late or if visibility precludes a trip higher on Rainier."
