Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The G-String and the Shoestring are located in Crystal Lakes Basin inside Mount Rainier National Park. Crystal Lakes Basin is the large, triple-bow basin that lies directly south of Silver King Peak and Crystal Mountain Ski Area. Easily seen from the ski area’s South Country Traverse, the twin chutes start directly on the summit of Point 6595 that defines the western terminus of the basin."
