The showy centerpiece of a sprawling greenbelt along the East Fork Lewis River, Moulton Falls County Park contains big rapids, big trees, and a big bridge over an impressive chasm. While these charming features can easily be reached by a series of short trails, this hike allows you to get a good workout and build up anticipation. Following a nearly level trail through deep timber along the East Fork Lewis River, this hike is a delight any time of year but especially in winter, when the river runs high.
