Lower Lewis River

Lower Lewis River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Wander a wide and wild stretch of the Lewis River to explore a recently restored cedar-shingle camp. Although it lacks awesome cataracts, the Lower Lewis River makes up for it with footsoaking river access.

On wide, well-groomed tread, walk through a verdant western hemlock forest. The trail soon encounters an unmarked junction. To the right is Curly Creek Falls. Bear left onto the Lewis River Trail, which gradually descends as it parallels the Lewis River upstream, with the deep green of the water some fifty feet below."
