Cutthroat Lake Trail

Cutthroat Lake Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A shallow mountain lake beneath the towering cliffs of Cutthroat Peak is only 2 miles and one gentle showerbath waterfall from the highway.

This is a great place for little children to wade and swim, while parents cast for the lake’s namesake cutthroat trout. Boulders, grass, and reeds ring the lake. Families can camp a quarter-mile from the shoreline, where there is a creek to play in and clumps of trees to hide in."
