Chewuch Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Chewuch is the second of three campgrounds along this stretch of the Chewuch River. It is rustic here in the ponderosa pine forest, but the fishing is good and some hiking trails lead into the mountains from here. The sites on the river are particularly nice.

About 6 miles farther up the road are some trailheads into the Pasayten Wilderness, with horse amenities at the roadside, including corrals, hitching rails, truck docks, and watering troughs."
