Chenuis Falls Trail

Chenuis Falls Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Despite its shortness, this hike takes you through a variety of natural wonders. The hike begins by traversing the wide, pebbly riverbed of Carbon River and continues through an old-growth forest to beautiful, cascading Chenuis Falls.

From the trailhead descend the steep side of the riverbank to the first crossing of the Carbon River. There may be up to seven footlogs crossing the many channels of the Carbon River, but the location and number changes according to how the river
reroutes itself. Continue traveling northeast toward the north bank of the river, making sure to look up the riverbed toward Mount Rainier for fantastic views of Crescent Mountain in front of Mount Rainier."
