Westport Light Trail

Westport Light Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Walk through dunes alongside an undeveloped beach known among surfers for its great waves. Admire the tallest lighthouse in Washington and an impressive jetty at the mouth of Grays Harbor. And climb to the top of an observation tower to survey what you just walked—and beyond.

The Westport lighthouse is not actually in the state park bearing its name. It’s an easy 0.2-mile walk by sidewalk to the 107-foot-high lighthouse, built in 1898. After your hike, visit the lighthouse grounds (free) and consider a tour of the lofty structure (check hours and fees at the Westport Maritime Museum)."
