Vesper Peak

Vesper Peak Professional Review and Guide

"Seen from Seattle, Vesper Peak is the broad pyramid at the front of the range, just north of Glacier Peak. The southern slopes may be seen from US 2 south of Monroe. This tour has an engaging “up and over” approach that is augmented by a speedy return to the trailhead, snowpack permitting. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; glacier travel (optional); permit / fee area."
