Pipestone Hard Loop

Pipestone Hard Loop Professional Review and Guide

"The scenic edge of Pipestone Canyon demands gawking. Great views of the North Cascades, as well. The snow disappears earlier than on any other technical route in the area, and the riding often remains good late into the fall. Not least, the riding is excellent—technically challenging and exhilarating.

To be able to bike to the ride from Winthrop or to get a longer ride, with about 500 feet more vertical, start riding from the junction of Bear Creek Road and Campbell Lake Road as in Ride 21.

Tread: 5.4 miles on singletrack; 4.0 miles on doubletrack; 1.4 miles on gravel."
