Pine Lakes Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Pine Lakes Loop Trail is an easy hike in the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. The route generally follows the shoreline of one of the Pine Lakes, offering an excellent opportunity to view several species of waterfowl. Moose are also occasionally seen here.

Dogs are discouraged on the refuge; however, they are permitted as long as they are on a leash less than 5 feet long. A daily or annual Refuge Pass is required Mar through Oct; no fee is charged Nov through Feb."
