Peterson Prairie Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is huckleberry central for the state of Washington. Late Aug–mid-September is prime time. The campground feels like it is way out on the flats, but it is close to mild adventure—the nearby Ice Cave and Big Lava Bed. It is nicely shaded and has spacious sites, but the amenities are primitive."
