Pacific Crest Trail, Mount Adams Wilderness Section

Pacific Crest Trail, Mount Adams Wilderness Section Professional Review and Guide

"Hike across the western slopes of Mount Adams through fantastic flower-covered meadows and across rushing glacial streams. This is a fairly long hike; be sure all the members of your party are in shape for it. Some of the glacial stream crossings can be difficult at times of high water.

Use caution when crossing these cold, heavily silted, rushing waters. Glacial streams usually have less flow in the cool of the morning than they do in the heat of the afternoon. In Mount Adams Wilderness no campfires are allowed above Round the Mountain, Pacific Crest, and Highline Trails."
