Forlorn Lakes

Forlorn Lakes Professional Review and Guide

"This is a 9.2-mile loop on gravel roads. The 1.5-mile climb to Forlorn Lakes basin involves easy and moderately difficult climbing. The remainder of the ride is easy. The roads are in good condition, with some ruts, rocks, and loose gravel.

Level pedaling through the basin takes you past several small lakes with good fishing and campsites. The descent from Forlorn Lakes affords some nice views of Lemei Rock and Mt. Adams. A good ride for beginners with moderate stamina. Scenery: A forested pedal past many small lakes."
