Dash Point State Park

Dash Point State Park Professional Review and Guide

"Dash Point State Park straddles the line between King County and Pierce County, which separates Tacoma from Federal Way. It covers 398 acres and has 3,301 feet of saltwater shoreline on Puget Sound’s East Passage, plus 11 miles of hiking and 8 miles of mountain biking trails.

The beach is a very popular place to walk and enjoy the views of Puget Sound. However, the water has been somewhat polluted by nearby industries, so clam digging is not recommended. This is basically an urban state park and therefore very well used."
