Bonanza Peak and Martin Peak Professional Review and Guide
"Bonanza Peak is the king of the realm. Being the highest nonvolcanic peak in Washington, it dominates the entire western Chelan sector. It is even a smidgen higher than mighty Mt. Stuart (Trip 34), another favorite of mountaineers. But unlike Mt. Stuart, which sits in a much drier location east of the Cascade Crest, Bonanza is in the middle of a weather convergence zone. It accumulates huge amounts of winter snow and is one of the most heavily glaciated peaks of the region."
