Mount Spokane - Three Peaks Loop

Mount Spokane - Three Peaks Loop Professional Review and Guide

"The featured route is a dandy that links three scenic peak vistas in the heart of 13,821-acre Mount Spokane State Park. The length of the full trip might be a little more than some hikers want to tackle, but don’t overlook the easier options to this network of trails on the south slopes of Mount Spokane. Drive to trailheads higher on the mountain to eliminate elevation gain. Read on, there’s something here for everyone.

For shorter and easier hike options, note five other trailheads: Lower Mount Kit Carson Loop Road: Continue up Mount Spokane Park. Drive nearly 2 miles from the park entrance to the hairpin turn parking area. Sno-Park: Continue up the road 3 miles from the park entrance to the huge Sno-Park area. (Cross-country ski and mountain bike trails are to the right at the upper lot.)"

This was a long hike, the route I took ended up being just over 17 miles. It is great to be able to hit 3 summits in a day though and all of them had great views. Trail 110 is heavily used by mountain bikers so some areas were V'd out pretty bad, overall great trail system.
