Mount Spokane Professional Review and Guide
"Forest, meadow, burping brooks, and mountain vistas are all offered on this 10-mile, out-and-back run. The trail goes rather steeply up almost all the way to Mount Kit Carson, then is fairly flat between Mount Kit Carson and Day Mountain. Cooler and moister than the valley below, this trail can be a refreshing run on a hot summer day.
Enter Trail 115 on the right side of the clearing that is on the left side of Mount Spokane Park Drive (A). If you’re lucky, a deer will be standing there to greet you. Trail 115 soon splits from Trail 155 (B). They join again within a mile as Trail 115, so take either one. The trail is wide, well maintained, and well marked all the way. On your right, Burping Brook gurgles in the distance."
