Centennial Trail Ramble

Centennial Trail Ramble Professional Review and Guide

"This trail is one of the most enjoyable of the rails-to-trails project in the Pacific Northwest. It follows the Spokane River through the city, linking parks, historical sites, and urban attractions to form a unique green-space corridor. Highlights include the Little Spokane River natural area, Riverfront Park, Spokane Falls, Gonzaga University campus, and beautiful geological formations around Mirabeau Park.

The trail goes from Nine Mile Dam, west of Spokane, to the Idaho border. If you have the energy you can ride all the way to Idaho's beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, a 73 mile round trip. Terrain: mostly flat, primarily paths, some on-street bicycle lanes."
