This popular 135-acre multiuse park located 10 miles south of Tacoma occupies the northeastern shore of Spanaway Lake and has long been a favorite outdoor recreation spot in Pierce County. With the exception of the park, this 280-acre lake is surrounded by residential properties. The park’s paved trail follows the lakeshore and returns through the upper area of the park in an easy loop hike that’s suitable for any ability.
