This trail leaves the city of Snohomish and travels north through farmland, wetlands, and fields. At Lake Stevens it continues through rural and wooded country, on to Arlington, then out to the terminus at the Nakashima Heritage Barn near the Snohomish/Skagit county border. Skaters savor the wide, smooth pavement, while equestrians enjoy the soft, 6-foot-wide parallel path. Multiple access points, fun towns, and several parks and lakes contribute to a relaxing day or a weekend getaway.
