Stevens Pass Scenic Byway

Stevens Pass Scenic Byway Professional Review and Guide

"This 85-mile drive follows the route of the northernmost railroad over the Cascades. The route climbs gently through thick forests, then steeply climbs the last few miles over Stevens Pass. It descends the more arid eastern side of the mountains alongside the Wenatchee River through Tumwater Canyon to Leavenworth, the “little Bavaria of the Cascades.”

Special attractions: Fishing, camping, whitewater rafting, hiking. This eTrail is a complete description of a scenic drive with a route map and information on the best travel seasons, interesting sites, recreation opportunities, camping locations, and much more."
