Road 6516-110: Klinger Ridge Professional Review and Guide
"This trip can certainly be described as having a very high “pleasure-to-pain” ratio. Although the 4494-foot summit is heavily treed and offers no views, the route up has many spots to stop and enjoy the scenery. To the south, the views continue to expand until, at the 1.5-mile point, there is almost a 180-degree panorama across the Skykomish River, which includes Mount Daniel, Mount Hinman, Chimney, and a myriad of other peaks in the Alpine Lakes area.
For those inclined to visit the summit, it provides a nice shady spot to eat lunch. Exploring in the summit area one can find some peekaboo views to the north, one of which provides a narrowly framed look at Townsend Mountain."
