Jim Hill Mountain

Jim Hill Mountain Professional Review and Guide

"Jim Hill Mountain takes its name from an early day railroad tycoon. The mountain is visible from US 2, just south of the highway near the Lanham Lake Sno Park (now called the Stevens Pass Nordic Center).

Jim Hill is the major peak west of the Chiwaukum Range and could be considered one of the better tours in this area. Difficulties: High avalanche potential; routefinding required; permit / fee area."
