Silver Lake

Silver Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"If you were a bass, you would want to live in Silver Lake. You would have three thousand acres of lake to roam in, millions of lily pads to hide under, several islands to swim around for exercise, and views of Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier to gaze upon. You would just have to be wary of more than a few bass fishermen.

All in all, it would be a good life. Paddlers face much the same situation when they visit Silver Lake. The lake is huge, with a lot of nooks and crannies to visit and acres of lily pads to paddle through. And those views of Mounts St. Helens and Rainier. And islands to paddle around. Not to mention wary bass to fish for."

Beautiful, lake that hasn’t ever been packed when we have been there. Lots to explore, several islands and some small channels. Water is always calm so perfect place to bring your kids or if your a beginner. Boat launch with plenty of parking . Lots of lily pads along all the edges. Beautiful views of Mt St Helens and Rainer.

This is a beautiful place to spend an entire day (if you wanted to) paddling, exploring, sight seeing... so incredible! It should be on your list of must see places!
