Dungeness Forks

Dungeness Forks Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Situated in Olympic National Forest, Dungeness Forks Campground is comfortable, shady, and quiet. It is located at the confluence of the Dungeness and Gray Wolf Rivers, in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains.

That means it is drier than campgrounds on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula. Trailers and motorhomes are not recommended due to steep, one-lane, unpaved road access."
