Black Canyon

Black Canyon Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This hike follows a trickle of water up through a wildflower-filled canyon to Umtanum Ridge, where you’re treated to views of Kittitas Valley, the Stuart Range, Mount Rainier, and the Wenas Valley, where the hike begins. The canyon walls aren’t especially tall or steep, but they make up for it with a plethora of wildflowers, stunning views, varied terrain, and a chance to see bighorn sheep and elk."
