Rainier Beach and Kubota Garden

Rainier Beach and Kubota Garden Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"One man’s monument to the nurturing power of nature lies at the city’s southeast corner. The Kubota Garden was part lifetime hobby, part professional showcase for its landscaper-builder.

Now everyone’s free to enjoy its 20 acres of hills, valleys, streams, ponds, and garden spaces designed with Japanese techniques and Northwest native plants. You’ll get there via a walking path that’s a little slice of electrified open space. This walk’s back end returns you to the shores of Lake Washington, at a little jewel of a shoreline park."
