Mount Baker Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Rainier Valley (“The Valley,” in local lore) is where ethnic communities from Italian to Laotian have settled at various times.

It lies between Beacon Hill and Mount Baker Ridge, the site of many old money manses west of Lake Washington. The Valley’s main drag, Rainier Ave., is set at a northwest-southeast angle to give a view of the mountain on clear days."
