The Wonderland Trail across the north side of Mount Rainier is varied, dramatic, and often spectacularly beautiful. It includes up-close and personal looks at two rock-covered glaciers, a gorgeous mountain lake, three high passes, lots of wildlife, and the usual flower-covered meadows and views. As if that weren’t enough, there are also some excellent side trips to jaw-dropping beauty spots just a short walk off the main trail.
