Soaring Eagle Park

Soaring Eagle Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Soaring Eagle Regional Park, named by a contest-winning second grader from nearby Samantha Smith Elementary School, doesn’t have a lot of soaring eagles overhead, but you will ?nd a host of other birds—local Audubon members have counted more than forty species of avians in the park.

The wildland park boasts more than 12 miles of trails looping through its 600 acres of somewhat dense second-growth forest. Visitors should make sure they grab a park trail map from
the trailhead kiosk, or better yet (to ensure they get one) from the King County Parks and Recreation website."
